Building Façade
The façade maneuvers to create a cascading effect for sunlight and views for apartments. We implemented multiple different explorations via the rhino plug-in grasshopper.
Building Program
The building consists of office, retail and CLT modular apartment programs. The back deck of the building also includes a large green roof and pool deck.
Animation
This short animation explains how the CLT units are constructed and how they will be stacked to create the building facade. Showing each step from CLT modules connection, floor finishes and casework + furniture.
The animation was modeled in rhino, rendered in V-ray then compiled and animated in Adobe After Effects. Enjoy!
